Coffee tables are the heart where people gather, and this beautiful coffee table was made to bring people together and steal the show aesthetically. OUR DESIGN PROCESS

The Black Walnut slab was sourced through Woodcraft, located in Grand Rapids, MI. This piece was handpicked directly by the Bear and the Wolf with a concept of creating a beautiful and unique double river epoxy coffee table.

Each piece of wood has been air dried for up to 3 years (until the slabs reach 20% moisture content), then finished drying in a custom designed vacuum kiln. This will ensure high quality lumber that has little cupping or twisting.

After sourcing the live edge slabs we personally do each of the following:
o Clean all surfaces of dirt and bark
o Plane and cut each slab making sure to perfectly square each edge
o Map out the perfect layout
o Cut to size and sand the river banks with Mirka/Festool sand paper
o Build a mold for the table out of melamine, Alex Fast Dry Caulk, Tyvek Tape, and Mold release
o Lay in our live edge slabs
o Calculate and pour our deep cast, Liquid Glass Epoxy
o Let cure for 7 Days
o Remove from mold and cut excess from all sides
o Finish top and bottom surface with Woodpeckers Slab Flattening Mill, Supermax Drum Sander, and hand sanding to 180 grit
o Chamfer bottom and top edges
o Seal with Rubio Monocoat Plus 2C (and Rubio Universal Maintenance Oil) for the most beautiful and durable finish.
o Install threaded inserts and joint connector bolts for our table legs

All of our unique river tables are handmade by the Bear and the Wolf in our den and are specifically designed to elevate your living space. Each river table is scratch resistant, heat resistant, impact resistant, and is made using strong UV inhibitors to last for years.

Not only do we use stunning hard wood, live edge lumber for our tables, we also finish our tables to the highest standard. Rubio Monocoat is known for its exceptional durability and the look is unparalleled. We also use threaded inserts for our leg mounts to maximize the durable quality while simultaneously making it easier than ever to set up.

DIMENSIONS AND DESCRIPTION

This river table is 17” tall, 47.5” long, and 23.75” wide making the perfect coffee table for a living room. The stark matte black epoxy compliments the Black Walnut hardwood in a way that is sure to grab the attention of your guests and elevate your living space.

Rustic, heavy-duty, matte black 16” steel legs act as great accentuating pieces that make this eye-catching coffee table the real star of the show.

We create our rivers using Liquid Glass deep pour epoxy to ensure the highest quality, long lasting tabletop imaginable.

With a buttery smooth finish, you are sure to love how these tables instantly become THE centerpiece in your cozy den.... or cave.

ASSEMBLY

We pre-align the legs, drill guide holes with threaded inserts, and assemble our tables to be sure they are 100% ready for your den. We understand that nobody wants to spend the time measuring and using a bunch of geometric equations you haven't used since 9th grade to assemble your new table, so we do it all for you!

All you'll need to do is line up each leg with our threaded inserts, use the Allen wrench provided with our INCLUDED furniture bolts, and VOILA your new river table is ready to star in your living room!
